Once upon a time, I milked a cow several times a week. And I loved it. It's been awhile since I've milked and because of that, we have LOTS of leftover half gallon mason jars. I decided to use one of them as a piggy bank in the kitchen. We always have loose change on the counter so what better way to store it than in a mason jar? Hello, sweet goodness. I love it. It's so "homestead" like. You can use any size jar but I chose the half gallon because of my overabundance of them. I also wrapped the top with a little bit of twine for a more rustic look.
